Changdeokgung Palace |
Changdeokgung Palace was built in 1405 during the early Joseon Dynasty as the main residence for members of the royal family. |

Jongmyo |
Jongmyo was one of three main state institutions of the Joseon Dynasty along with Gyeongbokgung(the main places) and Sajikdan(the national altar for the gods of earth and crops), which is located in Sajik Park. Jongmyo enshrines the spiritual tablets of Joseon Kings and queens.
On the 1st Sunday of May each year, rituals are conducted according to strict procedures in an austere ambiance. Music and dance maintain the traditional form of the rites.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress |
Located in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do Province, Hwaseong Fortress was built by the 22nd Jeoseon King, Jeongjo, to honor his deceased father, Sado Seja, who died befor he could take the throne. |
