The Visit Korea cmmitte is organizing "Korea Grand Sale 2011" a 50-day national shopping festival, in major cities like Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. Korea Grand Sale is a nationwide shopping tourism festival during which foreign visitors can enjoy shopping, food, hotel accommodation, cultural show, and other tourism resources in Korea. This festival is aimed at enhancing the image of Korea as a hopping destination and to attract more visitors to the country while offering a diverse range of conveniences. In particular, major retail outlets - inculding the so-called "Big 20" and more than 13,000 of their branches, shops, and stores -are scheduled to participate in the festival.
